HASlib: An Open-Source Decoder for the Galileo High Accuracy Service

The upcoming Galileo High Accuracy Service (HAS) will provide decimeter-level Precise Point Positioning (PPP) corrections free of charge. HAS are High-Parity Vertical Reed–Solomon encoded on the E6 navigation data in a format reminiscent but not identical to many State Space Representation (SSR) formats. In this paper we present HASlib which is an open-source library intended facilitate use R&D purposes. decodes frames and outputs RTCM 3 or IGS SSR formats, as configured by user. This makes it possible with existing GNSS receivers PPP engines that do natively support first release, BINEX Septentrio SBF supported input written Python language its design modular, implies for other output formats straightforward implement. describes architecture main features library. Furthermore, proof-of-concept results presented show can be run real time miniature desktop computer compatible PPP-Wizard package computation.
